Platinum Collection is a modern, contemporary assortment
of 32 multi patches and 64 single patches. A wide range of textures in the style
of the D-50 and sample-type sounds are included, as well as top 40 staples such
as strings, brass, and analog synth sounds.
Some timbres are warm and rich, some
are light and airy, and others are uniquely new. These new K1 textures are
mood-evoking, yet still retain musical value. Almost all of the sounds are
programmed to have an 'effected' ambience built into the patches, with
chorusing, tremolo, reverb and delay effects-all without using external signal
processing. Our programming techniques result in the most powerful and unique
